Back to Reality:)

Hello everyone! I have gotten to the point after my first eye surgery November 5th, that I can see well enough to type and read things. Surgery went well, Recuperation is going well although it takes about a year if everything goes well. I will keep you updated on each appointment. I am at 3 months at a time now for appts. and progress so far is good with no signs of tissue rejection. Once I am able to see well out of my right eye, then they will do the left eye. I did write the donors family but not heard anything. Many never do respond. It’s probably very hard for them and I’m ok with that. I just kept an open door to them if they ever change their mind.

The big news is that we are getting closer to being in our rv full time!! WOOOHOO!! lol I know we are ready and I’m sure the kids are ready for it so they have the house back to themselves lol. We have some travel plans made for the first few months, as I still have to be somewhat close to my surgeon. But able to be in a few states away if not too far.

Now about the rv lol Tom has worked very hard and diligently in getting the big stuff done (what I call the Man stuff lol). Unfortunately, I’ve not been much help but by next week, I’ll be able to start putting things away inside and slowly preparing for cooking, etc. I’ll do some decorating although there isn’t much wall space in an RV so that won’t involve much lol. I’m so anxious to have our family of 4 back together in the privacy of our home. Tom and I, and Our two Dogs lol. We are hoping and trying to be out of here as soon as possible before the end of February, preferable a bit sooner.

Anyway, I wanted to get back on here, start sharing again, and will share more as we go:)
